In partnership with American Muslims Empowering Communities, we woud like to invite you to a family fun Eid-ul-fitr picnic for local refugee families. Eid-ul-fitr is the holiday that marks the end of the month of Ramadan, where Muslims fast from dawn till dusk the entire month to empathize with the hungry around the world and focus on their spiritual relationship with the creator. Many of our refugee neighbors have been separated from their homes, families, traditions, and all they hold dear. Imagine celebrating one of the year's most important holidays away from the things and people you love? We will have free food (all zabiha halal), a bounce house, carnival games, and gifts for the refugee children! Please join us in making this a memorable and joyous occassion for our refugee community! All are welcome!
