Practicing yoga doesn't make you a better person. It makes you more powerful at whatever it is you choose to do. In our yoga, we align our heart, body, mind, spirit and, ultimately, at a more subtle level, our energy. In bringing these forces into alignment, we are able to access our highest potential with ease. Life just flows through us. We fall not prey to fear or worry or anxiety or a sense of lack. We lean into life, the ups, downs, twists, bumps, highs and lows. We trust that each moment is exactly as it should be. This is the focus of this training.
The training will take place in two 4 day modules.
Module 1 will be Jan 4-7th, 2018. 8am-6pm daily.
Module 2 will be Feb 8-11th, 8am-6pm daily.
Trainees can expect to begin each day with prayer, meditation, mudra and pranayama. Next the day will lead to asana. After a lunch break, trainees will have a series of exercises, both individual and collective, that are designed to help trainees cultivate tools such as re-framing, visualization, the practice of ritual, and more. There will also be a 3 hour workshop included in this module with Jennifer Pastiloff called, On Being Human. Jen is the writer and creator of the Manifest-Station Blog. She has been featured on Good Morning America, New York Magazine, CBS News and more for her unique style of teaching. She’s developed a massive and loyal following from her personal essays. She studied poetry and writing at NYU and Bucknell University and is currently finishing her first book, «Beauty Hunting.» There will be both pre and post homework included in the training.
Through the course of this training, participants will be asked to get really still and really clear about their own self limiting belief patterns, self told negative stories that bind them, and negative energetic patterns that are either internal or external (or both) in their circumstances. Then, with love and compassion, trainees will be guided to create something new. This is deep work. This is soul level work. It is not easy but the rewards are too delicious for words.
Both modules will take place at The Sanctuary Yoga Room.
Rebecca Butler is the lead trainer. The modules will include Rebecca's 5th annual goal planning and life refining session and a guest appearance by a super secret/amazing teacher. Trainees will be required to read selected texts before module 1 and in between sessions (to be given to trainees upon acceptance into the program. An application process is required.
In order to graduate the training, trainees must have 100% attendance to all days, satisfactory participation and a completion of assigned homework, as determined via Rebecca Butler.
The cost is $1,500 early bird (purchased and paid in full by Dec 1), $1,750 after Dec 1 (and/or if payment plan is selected.)
A $100 deposit (non-refundable) saves your spot. If you are accepted, the deposit goes towards your tuition.
