Join Artist Melanie M. Brannan at North Haven Gardens as she teaches our latest inspirational workshop.
Claude Monet’s The Magpie is considered one of his best snowscape paintings. It features one of the first examples of Monet’s use of colored shadows, which would later become associated with the Impressionist movement. He created this painting in 1868 while staying near Etretat in Normandy with his girlfriend and their newborn son.
Melanie will carefully instruct you and give you bits of history on the artist and painting along the way. At the end of the class, everyone will leave with their own 16x20” acrylic masterpiece.
Come join us for a beautiful afternoon of painting, meeting new friends and enjoying house wines and light refreshments served from our own Cafe at NHG.
