It's a New Year and you've been wanting to take a yoga class, but don't know where to start? We've been there! It can be intimidating to step onto your mat for the first time, and not know any of the terms, poses, or even how to breathe. (Who knew there were different styles of breathing anyway?)
We are excited to offer our first beginner series of 2018! Starting January 3rd and running for 5 weeks you can join Amanda Quintanilla to learn all about the foundations of a yoga practice. She will build a practice from the ground up explaining different alignment, prop uses, and how to adapt a general yoga practice to your unique body. Yoga is not a one size fits all practice so why approach it that way. Learn what works and what doesn't in your body right now. (And yes you will learn all about those different breathing styles too.)
By the end of the series you'll know your body a little better, and you'll have finally started that yoga practice you kept saying you'd start. Amanda will also be able to direct you to what other classes may be appropriate for your practice so you can continue to expand on your foundations.
