Guest speaker: Jennifer Jamieson, Community Volunteer and Communications Consultant
Jennifer Jamieson is a Past President of the Junior League of Collin County and has served the organization in multiple capacities including Communications VP where she assisted the League in re-branding from the Junior League of Plano to the Junior League of Collin County and establishing the League on social media.
Jennifer is a graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications. Prior to making the decision to stay at home and focus her time on her family and community, she was a television producer/director/editor/writer and on-air host. She traveled the state interviewing interesting Texans for the television program “Texas Country Reporter.” She has written and produced a variety of award winning television programs and human-interest video pieces.
Today, she continues to immerse herself in the study of communications specifically as related to promoting a nonprofit’s mission and brand by presenting marketing, public relations and social media topics through the League’s Non-profit Excellence Workshops.
