Holodeck Records proudly presents the ancient ghost stories of the classic 1965 Japanese anthology horror film Kwaidan, re-scored live by a curated selection of composers and musicians.
Join us at Alamo Drafthouse Dallas / Fort Worth on January 6, 2018 as we screen the 2K digital restoration of director Masaki Kobayashi’s original cut of all four short films. Kwaidan was one of the most expensive and ambitious projects of it’s time and is highly regarded as an all time cinematic masterpiece.
Come enjoy the immersive musical re-interpretations from some Texas’ most exciting electronic artists while watching Kwaidian's breathtaking supernatural tales. The quality and attention to detail are still exceptional more than 50 years later.
