Fair Park's 2018 Free Summer Movie Series continues July 18 with «Coco,» which won the 2017 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Song («Remember Me»).
Movies will be shown on Wednesdays at dusk at the Museum Green lawn area (near the Natural History Building). The start time will be approximately 8:00 p.m. (movies will not start until complete darkness).
In «Coco,» despite his family's generations-old ban on music, young Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. After meeting a charming trickster named Héctor, the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history.

In the instance of inclement weather, movies will be shown inside the Women's Building on the first floor. Enter Fair Park through Gate 3 (Washington Street at Parry Avenue) behind the Women's Building for free parking.
