2nd Annual Original Vinyl Day: A Retro Celebration
at Embassy Suites Convention Center in Frisco, TX
Do you love vinyl, especially the old school 70s and 80s and rare kind?
Well this might be the event for you.
3,000 LPs overall (including the Near Mint and Sealed Collection)
1,000+ CDs (including bootlegs, imports, gold, and Japanese)
100's of 45s, Laserdiscs, VHS tapes and even some t-shirts and
$1 LPs will be making an appearance (1,000+ est.)
THE NEAR MINT and SEALED COLLECTION
I've come across some great collections through the years. If you've come to my events before, who can forget the Austin collection or the 90's collection?
Well this collection I'm putting out will be known as the Near Mint Collection.....just spot checking the 1,300+ LPs, not a scratch or scuff to be found.
That's just spot checking. Going through them individually so far (through the Ks at the time of this post), and still....not one scuff or scratch!
If anything is wrong with them, it's gonna be the cover...it won't be the vinyl. I will keep this collection separated from the rest. So if you have a bad copy of a particular album....this will be a great collection to look at and get that upgrade you've been looking for.
BTW...there will be about 4 to 5 crates worth of SEALED, Japanese, bootlegs, and audiophile type LPs
ORIGIN OF THE EVENT
There are two days a year called Record Store Day that promotes the indie record shop....some great special releases come out that day that people gobble up quickly. This promotes brand new vinyl.
Well I thought I'd give some love to old school vinyl too. Just good ol' original vinyl.
