«Inner music--or inner Nada--is cosmic vibration leading to the experience of one's own True Self.» ~Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati
Bhakti House Band + Kenny Kolter
Explore the power of Nada Yoga (the yoga of sound) as Kenny Kolter & Randall & Kristin Brooks of Bhakti House Band guide you through a transformational sound healing practice that engages you both actively and passively in ancient sound healing techniques. We will utilize the power of outer sound (Ahata Nadam) to gain access to to the inner song of the heart (Anahata Nadam), aka the Sound of Silence or the Inner OM.
In this workshop, we will discover how the power of sound in movement leads us to the even greater power of sound in stillness. Randall and Kristin will begin this journey through the OM Cycle with the exploration of Sanskrit--the language of yoga, vibration, and the manifest world-- and ways to actively incorporate it into various yogic practices including asana, pranayama, and kirtan. Then Kenny will begin to move our journey into a more passive phase using the vibrational power of the Gong and Tibetan Bowls, thus preparing us for our final phase of this sound-healing journey. Finally, we will have the ability to surrender and effortlessly draw our attention to the sound of silence, the inner OM, the unstruck song of the heart, where we experience our true power, our Nada Warrior, that can only be found in yogic silence.
